Should I feed in night?

Hi

Looking for some advice please!

I am wondering if my 16 week old (tomorrow) bottle fed baby is possibly going through 4 month sleep regression? He previously slept 7-7ish without a night feed (v lucky I know!) however the last 4/5 nights he has been awake from 3/4 sucking on his hands and chatting away but not crying. Does this sound like it could be a sleep regression? If so, should I try to feed him when he wakes in the hope he’ll go back down or should I leave it as he isn’t crying and hope it runs its course?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Also I don’t know if it’s relevant but he isn’t fed to sleep at present. We usually put him down awake but sleepy and he goes off to sleep after 10/15 mins with a little bit of moaning but not much!

If you're both awake anyway, there's no harm in offering a bottle and seeing how it goes.

How long does he take to go back to sleep when he wakes up?

My LO was like this, with waking but just chewing hand etc. I used to feed and she took a bottle.

Sometimes I do think middle of night waking is developmental though. As we go through phases.

Maybe a dreamfeed?
