5yo and 8 month old sharing room

My almost 8 month old is still in our bedroom, but I'm going to be moving her through to her room soon. She will be sharing with her 5 year old brother. What's the best way to do bedtimes etc when sharing rooms?

She usually goes to bed about 6:30pm and her brother between 7-7:30pm. We usually do his story in the bedroom but I suppose we'll need to change that?

Any tips/help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I don't think a five year old should have to share a room with a baby. It doesn't seem fair on him.

Keep your baby in your room for a while longer.

@Plumtree391 unfortunately we don't have a third bedroom at the moment so it will have to happen. He's fine with sharing with his sister and they'll be absolutely fine. I was asking for tips on how to manage it.

Could you have his big boy story in your bed and then tuck him, quietly, into his. Then it’s still “wind down” rather than being in the sitting room or wherever.
