Hi

Can people share their routines for a 9.5/10 month old, mine is struggling with sleeping through the night, he used to buy now he doesn't , he's waking a couple of hours after he goes to sleep crying, and then taking me a while to resettle him, and I'm sure it's because I can't seem to get the day routine/naps right, he's never been a great sleeper and tends to wake at 5am meaning he's tired by 8am, but trying to stretch his naps so the last one foolhardy nearer to 3.30/4pm so he's good until bedtime but finding this difficult as he doesn't nap for long, his nap lengths can be different everyday! He also fights a third nap now! Can anyone give me some advice please! We are both so tired! HELP X

At that age my DD woke at 5 some days but most often she’d wake between 6 and 7. First nap was around 9:30 (sometimes a little earlier depending on wake up but always after 9) and she’d sleep for a good 90 minutes. Second nap was at 2:30 and again was 90 minutes. Woke up by 4 then down for bed between 7-7:30.

At that age we had bedtime sleep pretty much 7-7 (or 6/6.30am on a bad day). Then short nap 9.30-10 (would wake up so that he was tired enough for lunchtime nap) then a 2+ hour nap from about 12.30/1 and up by 3.30

I'd maybe focus on just having the 2 naps a day and trying to be more consistent with nap times. Obviously all babies are different though
