Sleep solutions in a campervan

DP and I are planning to take our DD away for a few weeks in our camper van when she will be around 9/10 months. We have one bed in the van which is approx king sized. We have taken DD away in it already (she’s currently 3 months) and she has slept in the carry cot from her pram or Moses basket on top of the bed next to me. At home she sleeps in a sidecar crib.

She’ll have outgrown both the carrycot and the Moses basket soon so we need an alternative solution. The fall back plan is to bed share, in which case we won’t take a duvet etc. However we’d prefer a solution that allows her to continue to have her own separate sleep space while still being on the bed with us. Has anyone done anything similar or have any suggestions?

I would bedshare or see if you can fit a travel cot in, we have the little life one that looks like a little tent. We used to have a camper van but it wasn’t big enough for the three of us so we now have a bell tent!

I also think it’s a bit early to be deciding really, there are huge differences in sleep between 3-9 months, you may find your baby loves bedsharing or really needs their own space to settle!

Could you get a cab bed? Not sure if you’re a walkthrough or not.

Thanks all, I think it’ll end up being between bedsharing or squeezing on a pop up travel cot. We have a bulkhead so a cab bed isn’t an option. We’re not planning to commit to anything until nearer the time as I agree - we’ve no idea what her sleep will be like then! Just hoped to get some ideas from what other people may have done!
