Hi all
My baby is due in October and I'm really struggling to work out which tog number swaddle would be best. Would a 1 tog love to dream swaddle in newborn size be suitable? Thanks in advance Smile

It really depends how hot your house is as the lower togs are for warmer temperatures;

The table provides you with guidelines* around how to dress your baby based on the room temperature.

0.2 TOG - ideal for room temperatures between 24°C and 27°C
1.0 TOG - ideal for room temperatures between 20°C and 24°C
2.5 TOG - ideal for room temperatures between 16°C and 20°C
3.5 TOG - ideal for room temperatures below 16°C

As pp said.
For my LO.
Above 24 she likes just a vest and pj bottoms if on the lower side for bottoms.
22 to 24 long sleeve vest and 1 tog sleeping bag.
20 to 22 long sleeve vest and pj bottoms. And 1 tog sleeping bag
Rest is generally long sleeve vest and pjs bottoms and 2.5.

It's all guidelines like pp said. This is what I found is optimal for my LO. You may find different x

I am also due in October with first baby and am struggling with the same thing! Every table I see online advises something different. There don't seem to be many 2.5 tog LTD swaddles in newborn size but lots of 1.0 toga available. I think our house is likely to be 17-20 degrees at that time of year. I'm tempted to just do with cellular blankets in the beginning as I'm not sure what to buy!
