Is this regression?

Asking for a friend.

Her LO is just over 6 months old. She's putting her to sleep in evenings but she's suddenly crying and shouting out when doing this. Never used to.

I suggested the usual dummy, sleeping bag, white noise, good bed time routine. Then I thought regression is about this time isn't it?

Is the crying only happening at bedtime? What's happening with daytime naps and night wake ups?

If it's only bedtime and the rest of sleep is good, likely to be another reason.

Yes only happening at bedtime. Lays down and starts crying. Naps aren't bad puts her in the pram and settles after 5 mins maybe 10 mins on occasions as she's likes to wind down in pram before going sleep. A little grizzle but not crying at all.

Night wake ups I don't believe there is any, if LO does wake up. If she does wake she said lo doesnt want a feed or anything and babbles away and drops off again

Could be that baby us overtired by bedtime. Might be that nap timings need looking at so that baby isn't so exhausted come bedtime.
