6 month old started screaming in the night

My 6 month old lg slept through the night from approx 2-5 months. The last few weeks her sleep has been getting worse and worse. She cut her first two teeth as the issues started.

She’s always been able to fall asleep independently at the start of the night (with dummy) that’s now a struggle and hit and miss.

The main issue is that she’s started waking randomly and just crying hysterically and will not be calmed until she’s picked up - this has never happened before! She’ll go back to sleep almost instantly once held then wake up again instantly once laid back down.

The only way she’ll sleep is in our bed which I don’t want but we’re exhausted!

This could possibly be teething, or illness.

If she's been sleeping through then she will go back to that, don't worry.

There's a big increase in calorific need at this age. Make sure you keep up milk intake at the same (or higher) levels as ore-weaning. Solids should be in addition to milk, not replacing milk for the next couple of months. Calorie deficit can cause the reimergence of night wakes at this age, if weaning isn't carefully managed.

My 6.5 month old is doing the same, I posted about it last week. It's exhausting and soul destroying. I don't really have any advice, but I feel you!

Nightmares maybe?
No noises in the room that could be waking her?
Or ghosties?
