What time is tea and what time is bed purple?

DS (9.5 months) has tea about 5.30, followed by bath and then a long breastfeed at about 6.30, and bed at 7 - so no time for snacks!

I have never done snacks at bedtime, mainly because I fear they would be hard habit to kick and for the same reason as cockle.

Also don't think it is ideal for their little teeth

I just give him as much as he wants at teatime. He always still wants a nice long feed at 6.30. (He hasn't fed during the night for months now - except once in a blue moon when teething gets too hellish)

Is he getting a lot of milk during the day? Maybe you could try reducing that?? What's his night-time sleep like?

purplehaze · 09/11/2004 13:52

his routine goes like this:

5am - milk 7oz
back to sleep till 7am
8.30am - weetabix and bananna
9.30 - sleep for an hour
11am - yoghurt
1pm - lunch chick and pot and veg then pudding
2.30 - sleep for an hour
3.30 - yoghurt
5pm - tea vsome kind of veggies or fish and pud
7pm milk and bed

then he wakes about 4 times for dummy and then starts to scream untill i feed him his milk at 5am!!!! The thing is he's been able to go to 7am before, but now gets so upset at 5am that if i dont feed him then he just goes mad.

thanks for your help.

xx
