5am rises

Any ideas why my 20 month old son could be waking at 5am suddenly every morning?

He goes to bed between 7/7.30 every night, same routine etc. Naps for 2 hours a day too usually between 11-1.

At my wits end with these early mornings 😂🙈

Illness? Teeth?
Too hot? Too cold?
Light through the window?
Thirst?
Wet/heavy/uncomfortable nappy

There's loads of reasons. If it was my child, I'd have a few weeks of later bedtimes to shift it.

Try and delay their lunch nap to past 12 and cut it short to 90 mins. Because they are having a slightly earlier nap, their body thinks it’s okay to wake earlier. Also adjust bedtime to later - 7.45 to 8.

Also echo the light through windows. I put foil up on my DC bedroom (at back of house) and worked a treat!
