Hi everyone

What age did you introduce a duvet & pillow into your toddlers bed?

Also what age did you remove the side?

Thanks!

DS is 14m and is in an adult sized daybed with a guard thing up. Sometimes I get nervous about putting a toddler duvet on so we go with two breathable blankets. Still no pillow.

He absolutely hated the cot though, I think it was being trapped in there he didn’t like. We leave the door open so soon as he wakes up in the morning he comes in and wakes us.

I wouldn't move from a cot to a bed until at least 3rd birthday. If not dry st night then no reason to rush to a bed even then.

I'd keep a baby sleeping bag while in a cot and then introduce a duvet alongside swapping to a bed. Pillow we introduced around 12-18 months.
