6 year old 9.30/10. Up at 7.45/8.

6 year old - ready for bed at 7, we read to her and then she reads to herself, lights out at 8. She's up at 7.

My 10 year old will be in bed in about 5 mins.

FATEdestiny · 13/07/2021 00:15

6yo - 8.30pm usually. Could be anywhere from 7.30pm if tired, or 9pm if not. She's very flexible.

10yo - 9-9.30pm (depending on extra curricular sports, many of which don't finish until 9pm). He's now 11yo, nearly 12, his bedtime is 10pm 7 days a week now.

6 year old - 8pm light out

beela · 13/07/2021 07:25

7yo and 10yo... Both somewhere between 8.30pm and 9pm usually.

PeonyTime · 13/07/2021 07:34

It also depends on when they get up.
10yr old: upstairs by 8.30. Lights out by 9. Awake before 6.30 most days (through body clock, not necessity)

careerchangeperhaps · 13/07/2021 07:34

6 year old - in bed by 7 for a story.

10 year old - bed by 8, can read until 8:30.

Both get up about 7.

Soontobe60 · 13/07/2021 07:38

When 7, my DDs were in bed by 7.30. They got a 15 minute increase every birthday so by the time they were 10 it would be 8.15.
Throughout secondary school it was generally 9pm on a school night, later at weekend.
