For the last couple of weeks my DD who is 2 years 1 month has been screaming hysterically when we put her in her cot at bedtime. Im not sure if shes scared or just doesnt want go to bed.
Even if we put her to bed late she is doing the same thing.
Its heart breaking but I cannot keep cuddling her to sleep I just dont know what to do

You 100% have my sympathy Thanks my eldest daughter did this at the same age, just randomly screaming, crying, etc when it got to bedtime. Mine wasn't even when she got to bed - it was before we even went upstairs! I think they're just testing boundaries and don't want to go to bed!
Unfortunately I can't offer much in the way of advice Blush we just read her a story in bed then laid down with her to stroke her hair until she was asleep. She was in a toddler bed though, not a cot.
My younger daughter did it for a short period around the same age and was in a cot, I used to sit next to her and stroke her nose or her hair until she was asleep, and it only lasted about 2 months.
Hope that helps, and fingers crossed she grows out of it quickly Smile
