Sleepyhead Grand

Did anyone use one of these? Is it worth it? How long did your baby sleep in the bigger one for? Baby is currently outgrowing the smaller one. She’s 8 months and sleeps like a dream.

All mine were out of sleepyheads around to 6 month. They got on with the cot pretty well and quickly.

I used the sleepyhead grande with my DC, she's now 2.5 and been out of it for a couple of months.
We still use it at hotels and at grandparents house for comfort and familiarity.
She slept like a dream in it!

I’d unclip the bottom of the one you currently have and just have that loosely around baby, perhaps under their sheet. Then gradually phase out.

We bought one and used it about 4 times before ditching it but my best friend’s son is still using it aged nearly 3 and sleeps really well in it
So I think it totally depends on the child

Dc1 had it til she couldn't fit- about 3 I think. We tried to ditch the sleepyhead when she grew out of the normal one but she rotated in the cot and woke up crying every few minutes with her leg stuck through the bars. Rapidly decided the eye watering cost was worth it for the grand.

Dc2 crawled all over the cot from 6 months so we ditched the sleepyhead then and got cot bumpers to prevent the leg in bars issue.

Conclusion - depends on the kid

My DD was in a sleepyhead until about 6 months when she grew out of it. Toyed with the idea of forking out for the grand but I put her in her cot with a rolled up up towel underneath the sheet which I gradually made bigger until I just removed it - much more inexpensive and a good transition into a cot. I'd save your money.
