3 month old naps for only one sleep cycle

My nearly 3 month old sleeps well at night (wakes for one feed) but during the day, she will only nap for one 45 minute sleep cycle at a time. I keep her wake window max. 1.5 hours and she usually falls asleep pretty easily but like clockwork she will wake in 45 mins. Just wondering how normal this is? She used to do at least one longer 1.5-2 hour stretch in the afternoon.

I try to resettle with dummy, patting her chest, etc. But no joy.

Super normal! Naps will lengthen with time. Smile

One sleep cycle is 20 minutes! 45 is good.
My first didn’t nap. Occasionally she’d cry herself into exhaustion for 20 mins. It was awful - she was so tired. Then at 11 months she had a 45 minute nap and it was truly amazing. After that she went down for longer and longer and by the time she was 2 she had a 2-3 hour nap each day.

They’re all different.

Keep trying to settle her with her dummy etc. and don't fret if it doesn't work. Her naps will lengthen over time. She seems to be a good sleeper already so she'll definitely get there!
