Toddler bursts of rapid breathing while asleep

I’ve noticed my 17mo has random fast breathing episodes while she’s asleep. It’s kind of like the rapid breathing dogs get when they are dreaming! It lasts maybe ten seconds.

Does anyone else’s toddler do this? I don’t know whether she’s just dreaming or if I should be worried

I wouldn't worry if it was me.

@ClaireJDOJ hi I was wondering if you ever got to the bottom of this cos my 6 month old does the same and shakes his head too x
