Is 8 months o.k. for CC?

Is it o.k for a 8 month to do CC?

opinions vary - some people say CC shouldn't be used on a child under a year

there are plenty of threads on this in the archives - it can be a contentious issue

FWIW, lots babies still wake in the night at 8 months - i know it is not much comfort but there are other strategies you can try instead of CC

I agree with Ruby - this is really contentious, and sometimes these threads get a bit heated. So I would say to read up - get books from the library, check the web - and decide whether you and your dc are ready.

FWIW I did cc with my 6.5mo DD, which i know will be to some. One factor influencing my decision was that she had stopped feeding at night for a while beforehand.
