5.30 wake ups

My almost 4 year old has taken to waking 5.30 ish goes to toilet sees it is light then can't go back to sleep she will play in room most mornings until green light (clock) but I can't expect her to do that until 7 (the usual time) especially if she hears me or her sister up
We haven't changed anything & she's in nursery 4 days a week very busy
I think it might be the waking for toilet sees it's light then stays up
Any suggestions please?

Could you lift her to go to the toilet at say 11pm ish?

Why can't she get up if you or her sister are up? Mine have always been early risers, worse in summer even with black outs.

I really wouldn't start lifting an almost 4 year old.

Ironically twice this week she has fallen asleep approx 20 mins earlier & slept later in the morn

Actually last night she fell asleep 6.30 instead of usual 7.30!

I’m in the same boat! She tries to get back to sleep bless her but she just can’t. She’s always been an early riser so I have a 6am rule (we don’t go downstairs before 6am).

I’m holding on for the teenage years when all they want to do is sleep!

It’s a phase, both mine have done this. My 5yo did it randomly all through winter and is sleeping better in the summer. My 7yo is waking me at a similar time, hopping into my bed and then snoring gently in my ear 🙄
