Where does your baby nap?

My LO is 5 months and we have just moved over to the pram seat from the carrycot as he has outgrown it (silver cross pioneer).

The past couple of months we have done most of his daytime naps In the pram (carrycot) and then he sleeps in the next to me crib at night. Other naps are on either me or DH. No issues he's a good sleeper (I know I'm lucky!)

But now we've moved over to the pram seat I'm not sure if it's still ok for him to nap In the pram or not? Any advice? I have the seat in the most reclined position, but it is not fully flat. He has napped just fine in it the past few days.

Once he goes into his own room at 6 months ish I will try to get him to nap in his cot, but at the moment I know he needs to sleep In the same room as me for all sleeps hence the pram is handy! Will it do any harm though?

My DD used to sleep in her pram in the day. Just used to make sure she was strapped in so couldn't fall out.

At 5 months (actually at about 3 months), mine were in their cot in their room for daytime naps. They were in with us at night of course, but it was just better all round for them to have a quiet place to sleep in the day. Plus, it meant their cot was a familiar place when they moved into it for night sleeping.
