I know I don't have much to complain about BUT how can I work towards getting my baby to sleep in her cot during the day? She sleeps well in her Snüzpod cot at night - usually 9pm-2am and then 2:30-6am- so I know she is capable of sleeping on her own, but for any day sleep she seems to need to be held or put in the sling! She will sleep in the pram, but only if it's moving. I adore the snuggles but I'm currently finishing my Masters and would love nothing more than to be able to put her down in the travel cot I have set up in the living room! Or even in the pram, without having to constantly move it. I know there isn't a quick fix, but any advice on how to work towards this would be much appreciated. I use a dummy and the shush/pat technique already to help her with her naps... but once I make sure she's sleeping and gently put her down- PING! Eyes open.

Congrats on your little one!
I got her to do it by keeping trying different things. So initially I put a muslin over it so she didn’t have anything to look at (didn’t leave her), tried loud hairdryer noise on the phone, she had something to hold, etc. Eventually we found what worked.
There were days where she didn’t sleep that much in there but we just persevered.
It all worked out, she doesn’t sleep on anyone now and likes her own space!

Thanks @Pipperleen, I think you're right... I just need to keep trying and see what works!
