4 month sleep regression is that you????

Exhausted! Currently on 3rd wake up of the night already and seems as if every time I'm drifting off little miss is waking back up.

Over the last few weeks whenever we have had a bad day of naps/night time sleep. the 4 month sleep regression has been at the back of my mind - but that's nothing compared to now, where I am currently waking up hourly - 2 hourly. Daytime naps have also gone to pot - 40 mins 3/4 times a day depending on when she wakes up, but previously she would sleep for 1.5hr a nap - admittedly these are on me but that's a whole other issue.

We co-sleep & I am feeding back to sleep the majority of the time as I am feeling as if I could die from exhaustion!! She is capable of being rocked/bounced/patted to sleep but I just don't have it in me. Am I just making a rod for my own back here? How do others cope.

DD is 5 months next week - when will this end ?! How do you know when the 4 month sleep regression is truly at play ?!

Apologise for any spelling mistakes - can hardly keep my eyes open.

Keep in there as one night it'll simply go and they'll go back to normal, it's tough now but trust me it gets better, at some point anyway 😂 xx

I'm hoping for some sort of normality! This is the third night in a row with numerous wake ups & she still woke up at 7 happy as Larry! I on the other had am struggling.

I know this thread is a few months old, but my daughter is just 5 months. She was a great night sleeper (day naps, no, always has to be carried) until about 4.5 months. We all got this horrible cold that lasted 2 weeks. She just boob-slept all night because she was too congested to lay down. It was exhausting for me, but she needed it. Anyway, cold has gone, but she's still waking every 2 hours overnight and only boob will settle her. She's barely eating in the day (too busy playing and practicing skills) so I'm sure she's hungry.

Lots of people say it'll end on it's own and go back to normal, but I guess I just want a bit of reassurance.

Has your little ones sleep improved since posting this?
