Sleep training reassurance!

Hello,

We’ve not been able to sleep train our second child until recently because she was waking her sibling. She’s now 17 months and four nights of controlled crying (2mins/3/4/5/7/9/10) have been pretty tough ... how does the following sound ...

Saturday
Awake from midnight to 1:30am ... woke again at 5:15 but self-soothed

Sunday
Squeaks around 11:50pm ...
Awake: 2:30am to 3:50am

Monday
Squeaks at 9:25pm ...awake 1130pm (but not for long)... midnight (but not for long) ... 1230 (but not for long) ... awake 0530-0630 before one hour of sleep

Tuesday
Awake 1145 (not for long) ... awake 3:30 to 5am

Stick with it or accept defeat? Our older child has been staying with her grandparents this week but will return on Sunday. She never needed sleep training and just “got it” at 14 months!

What’s the day naps schedule like?

Keep going

Naps are at 10 and 2 (or as close as) for 40 minutes and she’s good at those. Occasionally she’s held out beyond 11 so she has one longer nap.

As it happens, she slept through last night so we’ll see tonight if it was another one off or not! Thanks for your replies
