Hey all !

Looking for some advice ! My little one is now 17 months and is still in a sleeping bag, when did use start with the quilt and pillow ?
She is such a wriggler like literally all over the cot so I'm unsure when is best ?
Or do I put her in a bed first then do this ?
Help !
First time mum Smile

I would keep in a sleeping bag until you change from a cot to a bed.

You can get sleeping bags in size 18-36 months.

I don't think it really matters. She's old enough for a pillow and duvet but if it's not broken why fix it? If she's not happy in her bag she'll start taking it off. My little one is 20 months and still in her sleeping bag. She knows how to undo it when I get her out of her cot but is happy to have it put on at bed time and never takes it off when she is in her cot.

That's good to know.
I'm not in any hurry like I said first time mum so just looking for other stories / advice on when others done it :)
Wasn't sure if it's best to wait until a bed or do the switch before lol.

My son is 33 months and In a cot bed in a sleeping bag.
Do what you think might be best, appreciate first time mum makes it hard to decide but I like the sleeping bag as you don’t have to worry about them wriggling around too much

I kept mine in sleeping bags until they grew out of the largest size, then moved them into a bed with a duvet.

DS is just over 2 and still in a cot and sleeping bag and it will be that way as long as possible!
I’ll move him out of a sleeping bag when I move him into a bed, hopefully when he’s around 5 😂

Haha it's all so difficult especially if they sleep well I suppose just leave them untill they're too big ,
Some times you just feel like you should be moving on to the next stage or that's what I feel anyway

I switched when she grew out of the sleeping bags. So probably around 18'montns

I bought toddler quilt and pillow from
Amazon. She loved it! Was very excited to Have big girl bed and still slept in the cot until we got round to converting to a bed

The duvet is much warmer and cosier than a sleeping bag

Ds moved to a single bed and quilt at 2½ years. He was in the sleeping bag in the cot until then

Also can I ask were any of your little ones massive wrigglers ? She's still up one end then all over the place through the night ?

A pillow and a quilt will prob encourage her to lie in one place
