My baby is 5 1/2 months old. Just put him to sleep for the first time in the 'big' cot as he's outgrown the snuzpod and he's rolled onto his front and buried his face in the mattress. This is ok isn't it? He does roll back to front but not really front to back. Do I have the roll him onto his back or can I leave him sleeping in this position?

My DD is 8 months and sleeps on her front fine, she usually turns her head side to side. Although for a while she couldn't roll back so woke up on her front screaming at least once a night Sad hopefully you'll skip that bit!

Thank you - it feels like a huge step moving from the bedside cot! I'm hoping more space might make him sleep better!

My DS did this at the same age OP. There was nothing I could do about it (if I tried turning him round he would immediately roll back). I think once they can roll themselves it's ok to let them sleep on their front.
