What time does your child go to bed?

How old and what time do your DC go to bed? And wake up?
DS is 4 in a few weeks, he goes to bed 7pm and wakes 6.30/7am. If he doesn't get enough sleep he's like a devil 😂 He seems to need his sleep.
I was worried 7pm was too early?! But if it's any later he is tired and Wingey the day after.
I'm just curious to know how much sleep other DC get at this age?

All children are different. Mine went to bed when they were tired, there was no fixed time.

DS is 4.5 he is usually upstairs for bed by 7/7:30 but recently he’s been waking at 5am for the day so we have been going up a bit earlier.

My DS is 3 and a few months. If he naps in the day, we go up around 6 and he's generally asleep about 7.30. (although we do bedtime with his younger sister so we probably head up a little early but he has extra stories.
If he doesn't nap in the day, we head up between 5 and 5.30 and he's asleep between 6 and 6.30.

My just turned 4yr old, her bedtime is getting later she's just not as tiered. She used to go to bed at 8pm but it's more like 9pm these days. She sleeps till 7.30-8am sometimes later.

1yr old bedtime is 7.30 sometimes a bit earlier if she's exhausted. She usually sleepers until 7.30/8am. She's currently still sleeping though as she was up for an hour wanting a carry on at 3am.

1 and 2 year old 6.30-7.30 depending on when they woke up from their nap.

7 and 8 year old 8.30

11,12 and 13 year old, 9.30.

Oh and they all wake up around 7, the older ones lay in at weekends though.

3y3m and 16mo both go at the same time - lights off at 7.30pm - as they share a room.

First born was 7pm until she was age 6. Then slow increased to 8pm by age 8.

Second child has been 8pm since turning 5. But I think that is a bit late if I am honest, just works with our routine as older child's clubs finish later and youngest isn't tired during the day so don't see any harm.

If he seems ready to sleep and is grumpy if in bed later then it sounds right for your child.

My son is 5 and goes to bed at 7 and wakes at 7 to get ready for school, I'd rather he has a decent sleep so he's not tired and miserable at school, weekends it will be between 8-half 8 depending on what we're doing 😊
