For those who feed to sleep, do you find it difficult to transfer baby to the cot?

Neither of mine slept in a cot, we co-slept. I could feed them whenever they needed it and I got loads of sleep.

I waited 20 mins till he was in deep sleep before transferring!
Otherwise danger zone of him waking up!

Definitely do a 20 minute 'hold' to make sure she's settled before I transfer her in. Sheams only 3 months though so haven't started putting her down for naps yet... That could be a different story

The three arm drop is a good indicator that they are deep enough asleep.

I currently have him in a Next to Me so feed him in that.

I co-slept till 9 months with my DD. Then transitioned her into cot in her own room. Would feed to sleep then put her in the cot. If she woke, I'd pat and shhh till she was asleep. If she woke up too much, I'd feed her again. By 12 months she was sleeping through most nights. Weaned at 13 months. She's 21 months now and been a brilliant sleeper (mostly) since she was weaned.
