Good routine for 7 month old, any ideas?

I have always put my DD down at 9 am for a nap. I usually put her down at 1pm and then again at 4pm. She falls asleep if we are out and about in the car or pushchair.
Does this sound about right?
We sometimes dont go by these times and go with the flo but feel she gets cranky in the early evening.
Is 4pm too early or to late?
Does anyone else have a routine?

Sounds fine to me but she may drop to 2 naps soon. Maybe 9.30 and 2.00 or something like that?

What time does she go to bed?

When my DD was that age she had naps at a similar time to your and was in bed by 6.30 for the night - it was bliss back then!!

Iirc my health visitor advised me not to let ds sleep between 4ish and bedtime once he was about 7 months.
Before that particular chat I had no routine whatsoever so yours sounds positivly regimented!

Cool, Thanks for your replies. She's 7 and a half so maybe time to drop the 4 oclock nap.
She goes to bed around 7.30 -8.30pm
She has been waking up very early lately, this morning was 5.30pm but she has a terrible cold and I think she is teething!
She used to wake up at 7-7.30am which was good.

Hi, try to drop the 4pm nap and put her to bed earlier (my DS is 7.5months and is in bed by 6.30 at the latest!) she may then sleep later in the mornings.

Hayley sounds v similar to what we were doing at 7 mths - we kept the 4pm nap v short eg 20-30 mins to avoid too much sleep too late in the afternoon - but if he didn't have that afternoon nap he was a nightmare by 5.30 ish. We have mostly dropped that afternoon nap now (9.5mths) but he still needs it if he hasn't slept well earlier in the day. Bedtime is 7.30pm.

At 7 months my little one was waking about 6-7am, then napping for about 2-3 hours at 9ish, then afternoon nap for 1 hour or so at about 3pm. He went to bed at 7 (still does at 10 months) so I never let him sleep after 4.30 unless he's had a really bad day and couldn't sleep much in the morning.
I'd only fit three naps in if he's getting really grumpy - they're so much harder to get off when they're overtired.

mine are 7.5 mths and both sleep approx 9.30am then after lunch about 1pm the are in bed asleep by 6.45pm.
