Ds starting to fall asleep eating!

Hi all, my Ds is now 3 months old and just moved up to 7oz bottles as he's a very hungry boy but 7 seems to satisfy him.
I feed him at 8, 12 and 4 on a 4 hour cycle.
Recently he's started falling asleep with his 4 am feed, which he has never done before.
Should I go back to feeding him 6oz or just stop doing the 4am feed as he doesn't seem interested in it?
I am a ftm :)

Are you waking him to feed or is he waking at 4? If he isn't waking, I wouldn't feed him and would let him go til say 6 am. You could do a smaller feed at 9 if you want to stay on track so 12am, 6 am, 9am, 12 pm, 4 pm, 8 pm?

I am waking him, it's been that way since he was born! I can't complain as I'm very lucky, I think I left him he'd sleep through till 8 am but that would be a full 8 hours of no food for him.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. You know if certainly try it. Go to sleep crazy woman 😂 and let him wake you, you might find he only makes it til 5 am anyway

You don’t need to wake him to feed him at 3 months. Let him carry on sleeping and enjoy the rest!

I wouldn’t wake him, just let him wake you! He’ll let you know when he’s hungry Smile

Okay, just let him sleep. If there's ANY chance of him sleeping then let him!
