Single duvet or toddler duvet?

Hi! My LO is 2 and a half and is in a single bed which is low to the ground with a bed guard. She has a toddler duvet but the bed is a single, would a single duvet be suitable? Or what that be too big?
I'm not really sure what age you switch from a toddler sized duvet to a single one.

Either would do. The toddler one might look very small compared to the size of the bed.

as you have the duvet already I would keep using it.
maybe keep an eye out for good deals on single duvets, but no rush.
