Is a cot at the end of the bed safe?

My LB is 5 months old and outgrowing his snuzpod. He’s EBF and still sometimes awakes in the night so it’s not practical for him to be in his own room and I feel no way ready to leave him in a room alone yet.

Can I put a cot at the end of my bed? Is this safe?

AS long as it is not right up against the bed (risk of suffocation through bars) but has a slight gap, it's fine.

Like PP said, as long as it’s not right up against your bed it’ll be fine. My DD is 11 months and sleeps in my room still (currently living with my mum so space issue) and her cot is at the end of my bed but with a gap between and she’s been fine.
