Transition to 1 nap

Just wondering how did you know for def to move your LO down to one nap? My 14 mo has been fighting her afternoon nap but not consistently. Some days she will go and others she won't. On the days she's not going down she is awake from 11/12 until 6pm...seems a very long time. If you did transition at this age can I ask what your times for nap and bedtime were? Is 14months too young still for just one nap?

I’ve read that when your child consistently skips a nap for 2 weeks and seems fine without it, they’ve probably dropped it.

My daughter dropped to one nap around 14 months and was fine with it x

Both mine dropped to 1 around 13 months

14 months is a typical age to move to one afternoon nap.
What time does she nap now?
I’d start doing an early lunch at 11 and have her down for a nap 11.30, then push it back so she’s napping 12.30-2.30 or 1-3ish.
