White noise

How do people use white noise with their babies? My baby is 3 months old and I'm starting to do a bedtime routine with her (bath, massage, book, feed (boob), sleep. I always feed her to sleep and then swaddle her once she is asleep. Should I use the white noise when feeding her?
She wakes every 3hrs in the night and I'm hoping the white noise might help her resettle. Is this just wishful thinking?

I'm afraid waking every 3 hours is normal for most babies at that age. We used to use white noise (quiet rain sound) during the whole night near her cot but it didn't really make that much of a difference, in hindsight.
I think it might be useful, though. It's worth a try.
Our DD started sleeping longer stretches from 12 months and they got progressively longer until she started sleeping through around 14-15 months. I hope your baby starts sooner, I know it's so hard to be up every 3 hours. x
