Trying to work out how to sort baby at night.
Feed then change every time?
Or just change if pooey?
He hates being changed, really distresses him.
Any tips/tricks to speed up the process?

There is no magic answer, or at least, I didn't find one. I went with feed, change nappy, feed from other side with my eldest. He had a tendency to poo half way through a feed, so nappy change then feed didn't work. My youngest was fine for change then feed, although she'd get upset as she was waking hungry but having to wait for milk. Try a different order and see if any work better for your newborn. For luck!!

When mine was a newborn he would usually poo when he started feeding, so I would feed on one side, then nappy change, then feed on the other. He sometimes needed a second nappy change at the end, but I preferred to do it midway through the feed if I could so that he would settle back down after. Now at 4 months he very rarely wakes in the night, but if he does I do a nappy change first because I don’t like to wake him back up after a feed and he doesn’t usually poo mid feed any more.
