Too much day time sleep? 4.5months old

DS naturally fell into his own loose “routine” when we changed to bottle feeding at 3months so we loosely follow that. He’s now 4.5 months but the last couple of weeks sleep have been difficult. I’m hoping it’s just the 4m regression and he’ll get back on track but I’m wondering if his daytime naps might be too long and affecting his nighttime sleep? He will only nap during the day on me or in his moving pram. Any advice on his “routine” would be appreciated! Should he be reducing naps or is he still too young?

Rough routine:
7am - wake, nappy, feed, play
8.30ish - First Nap 1-1.5h
10/10.30 - nappy, play (tummy time)
11am - feed, play
12/12.30ish - Second Nap - 1-2h
2/2.30pm - nappy, play
3pm - feed
4.30ish - Third Nap - 1-1.5h
6pm - Bath, massage, feed, book(s)
7.30ish - Asleep (usually sleeps soundly)
10.30/11pm - feed & settle back down (hit & miss whether he is sound or not)
2.30am ish - feed & settle (restless!! Rubbing face, winging for dummy then pulling it out & playing with it 🙈 this goes on every 20-30 mins until 6am ish when he then settles and sleeps soundly until 7am.

He naps a bit more (maybe an hour overall) than my 4 month old, and goes to bed earlier (she's not normally asleep before 8 and often not before 8:30). That said, I don't stop her napping or wake her up (unless I have to to go somewhere or do something!) as I'd feel very mean to do that. Could you try a small adjustment and see whether it makes any difference? Say, 30 mins play after the third nap and push bedtime back by half an hour?

The other thing you could try is doing a daily walk (maybe you do but I can't see it on your schedule). Fresh air is supposed to help babies sleep better - and I like it because it's something else to do!

@110APiccadilly Hood idea trying the small adjustment 😊 I’ll see how we get on today! We do at least one walk everyday 😊 he usually sleeps well in the pram so we do his second nap in the pram on our walk each day. If he’s having an especially fussy day and won’t nap in the morning then we do the first nap on a walk too 😊

Second thoughts, don't listen to a word I say - DD has literally taken 2 hours plus to go to sleep tonight and I've only just got her down!! I clearly know nothing.

@110APiccadilly sorry, but that made me giggle 😅🤣 I feel your pain!! They’re funny little creatures aren’t they?! 🙈 DS woke every 15 mins from 7.45-9.45 last night 😅 had a feed, slept 10.30-3am (longest stretch ever!), had a feed, slept 3.30-5am then decided it was time to wake up 🙈
