Hello

I want to make sure my LO doesn't rely on anything to sleep but I am using white noise through out her naps and all night

Is that the right thing to do?

I want to help her starting falling asleep herself without the use of anything?

WhAts the best thing to do, turn it down after she's asleep, wean her off or keep it on ? I understand she might be too young but I want to eventually sleep train her and soothe herself to sleep

Why make your life more difficult? And hers? White noise is a great tool, it's never going to cause any harm and it's readily available. Not sure why you want to get rid, also don't put yourself through the stress of trying to MAKE your baby self soothe. It's developmental and she'll decide when that happens

My 10.5 month old still uses white noise for naps and overnight. It blocks out all household sounds and now I can’t even sleep without it! Agree with PP - why make your life more difficult?
