DD is nearly 4 months. She's currently in a Moses basket at night which is on a rocking stand by the side of our bed. She sleeps well in there (does wake up but goes back to sleep after a feed) at night. I generally feed/cuddle her to sleep and then put her in the basket, but she does sometimes nod off in there, particularly if she's woken when I put her down. I do find rocking the basket helps with that.
She is of course growing and will need to move to a cot (also in our room, but a bit further from the bed because it won't fit right by it) probably within the next month.
Does anyone have any tips to make the transfer as easy as possible? I can't do anything with naps, like put her in the cot for naps, as she's still not a great napper and mostly naps on me or DH. I've decided to roll with that as I can manage!
