My 4.5 month old dad just always seem so tired and grumpy no matter how much sleep she gets! She sleeps well at night, in bed for 8pm and sleeps through until 7am with one night feed. During the day she contact naps which I quite enjoy and are in no hurry to stop. She has 1.5 hours in the morning, 2 hours in the afternoon and at least 1 hour in the early evening ending at 6pm. Her wake windows are about 1.5hours- 2 hours max. She seems to sleep well when she is down so I assume the sleep is good quality but when she wakes she is happy for about 30 minutes before she’s yawning and tired again even after sleeping for 2 hours. Anyone any ideas on how to stop her being so chronically tired all the time!

As she gets older she will be able to manage longer awake times, so I would just roll with it for a little bit.

1.5hrs-2hrs awake windows is pretty normal for a 4.5month old!
Don't worry, enjoy the cuddles!!

17.5 weeker here and her awake windows are the same as your baby @MotherOfDragon20 she was sleeping through but is having some quite disturbed nights in the last week. I have older children and tbh I don't remember how much and for how long they were awake at this age. I don't think we worried about it as much - everyone was just grateful if they napped and slept at night! 😬
