Too many car naps?

I'm going back to work and DP will have DS (8months) 1 day. DS only sleeps in bed with me on breast or in car - he's too interested in the world now he's older for pram to work. If DP has him all day he'll probably end up napping in car 3 times!! I feel like that's way too much since I know car naps aren't great for babies (or is that only little babies?) Or am I being precious? I'd love it if DP could get him to sleep in bed like I do but I've no idea how as he is without breasts... Any tips would be amazing? Grin

On the suggestion of someone else on here, I have got a Snooze Shade to try and lengthen pram naps (doesn't do that yet but she does get to sleep much quicker). I'm also hoping it will make it possible for DD to nap in the buggy when we switch her to sitting up as otherwise I suspect she would be the same as your DS (no longer naps in the sling as too nosy). Worth trying to see if you can restart buggy naps?

Is it not worth persisting with pram? Sounds annoying.
But otherwise I don’t see a problem with it.

Brill, never heard of the snooze shade! I'll give it a go!
