Help me figure out my 10 month olds sleep

I need help.

My 10 month old moans and whinges every 30-60 minutes constantly, all night long. I’m exhausted because I’m getting no sleep. It’s not every night.. a good night is 2-3 wakings and usually popping her dummy in settles her but she’ll only have 1-2 good nights a week.

She was up basically all night last night - she doesn’t have night feeds anymore but when I tried to give her her morning bottle she only drank 2oz (normally has 6oz) so she’s not waking out of hunger.

Her daytime routine for sleep is:

6-6:30am: wake
9/9:30am: does a 90 minute nap
2/2:30pm: does a 90 minute nap
7:30pm: asleep

Is she getting too much/too little daytime sleep?

Any help is appreciated.

We really do have similar problems. My son also has 2 90min naps at the same times too.

Hopefully someone has an answer but it's nice to know I'm someone else has the same issue.

Morning,

My LO is 10.5 months old.

Her schedule is the following:

6.30-7 - wakes up
9.15/9.30 - 30 minute nap
1.15pm- 1hr 15 min nap
7- bed

So by any means please don't take me as an expert as we had very many sleepless nights to get her to sleeping through and a lot of trial and error with how much she should nap but from what you said there is a couple of things that stand out:

  1. Dummy- if your having to go in to give her it - I would ditch it ( this is likely to be the reason she is waking when it falls out).
  1. Personally 3 hours asleep during day to me is quite a lot BUT my LO has always been on the less sleep during the day kind!

I would recommend looking at "just chill mama" it's very gentle sleep training course but even if you don't want to do that she ha some really good tips/videos for free on you tube!! One of the videos is dummy ditching which is really useful I found.

It might take a few weeks of patience but it really did say our sleep 🤣 xxxx

That was to say "save our sleep"

Also forgot to say- I do have to wake her from her naps so she doesn't have too long! Xxx

Morning!

Thank you! I have tried capping her naps but it left her miserable as hell ☹️ The days she doesn’t nap so well she’s still the same at night.

If I leave her dummy in reach she can grab it herself but not sure that’s the issue. I think she might be teething - she hasn’t got any yet and her gums were very red this morning.

I’ll definitely check out the videos though, thank you! Xx
