Cot bed duvet

Hello!

Stupid question really but will a single duvet be alright on a cot bed for a 2 year old? My son is very tall for his age. About to move from a cot to a cot bed and sleeping bag to duvet.

Any tips appreciated. Toddler duvets seem quite small and I can't find any nice covers!

Thanks

We had a cot bed duvet that kept falling off, recently got DD a single duvet and it's much better at staying on. It rumples up a bit but that helps cover the mountain of teddies! If go for it, it'll help transition to a big bed when the time comes as well.

We just turn a normal single duvet sideways and tuck half of it entirely under the mattress. Peppa picture is sideways but nobody cares!

We also turned a single duvet sideways, much warmer and as we tucked both ends under the sides of the bed it helped to stop her falling out too.

Yes, single duvet sideways with big tuck ins.

Mine went into a proper bed at 2. Single duvet - simples.

DS still has the sides on though so I'm guessing a single would swamp him?!
