Hi everyone, i’m really stressed out!

we live in a small 2 bed apartment, and our bedroom is quite small. I’ve brought and had to return 3 bassinets because they just don’t fit in our room! I could just about fit at the bottom of our bed but then we won’t be able to get through or open the drawers.

someone suggested I buy a device that monitors their heart rate, breathing, sleeping position, oxygen levels, temperature ect, like the owlet sock or the sense-u baby and put them straight into their own room. Is it okay to do this?

Can you not get a sleep next to me cot?

No, baby should sleep in the same room as you for at least 6 months. It’s possible that the parent’s breathing stops the infant falling into too deep a sleep - it’s not clear, but it definitely reduces the chance of SIDS.

Could you move your drawers/wardrobe into the other room to make more space?
