I did post this in preteens earlier by accident so posting it again in the correct topic!!
My 15 week old daughter hasn't slept for more than 2 hours since she was born. All her naps are in the sling, if I try to take her out of the sling when she is in a deep sleep she wakes crying. When she is in the sling she wakes up crying if I sit down so I have to keep

moving

At night we co-sleep as she will only sleep if I am touching her hand or stomach.

Even in bed with me she will wake every 45 minutes or less. Sometimes it is for a feed, sometimes to put her dummy in. Sometimes she will only stop crying in the middle of the night is she is in my arms. I get they are still small and they want comfort. But I am so bloody tired.

I have a toddler, am sick to death of this lockdown, I can only see my support bubble once a week due to them working. I hate everything. I can't even play with my toddler as I can't stay still.
Please please please help!! Any suggestions!!!

Sorry, but some babies/toddlers do just sleep for very short bursts and like the constant contact with their parent.

When DC4 was a baby and like this, I used to get DC1&2 in bed and then go to bed myself leaving DH to do everything for the evening. Then once he came up to bed I’d take over and at weekends he’d do the bulk of childcare so I could try to catch up a bit more then. It was the only way to make things slightly manageable for me.

DC4 is almost two now and still wakes several times a night and likes to be snuggled up on one of us. It’s exhausting so lots of sympathy.

How often do you feed her through the day? I was feeding my baby every 3 hours and she was waking every 1-2 hours at night. HV said to feed her every 2 hours in the day which I rolled my eyes at, I tried it and now she sleeps 4 hours for her first stretch. I’ve not admitted to the HV yet that she was right and I was wrong!
