4 months....4 short naps??

Hi, my little boy is 4.5 months and tends to have 4 30-45min naps a day. He has been sleeping fairly well at night up until recently when he has been waking to party for 2hrs in the middle of the night.
My friend is a sleep consultant and says he’s waking due to be under tired as not having a big day nap and should be in a 3 nap structure by now.
Anyone else’s little ones of similar age having similar naps to mine?
Also anyone think of other reasons why he’s waking to party?

It does sound realistic. My almost 5 month old has recently dropped the 4th nap, we still do it if the naps are all short like yours though. I can only create a long nap if I hold her as well, so your little one sounds totally normal. You might have to
do a longer nap in pram, sling etc if you want him to stay asleep!
