Hi All. DS was born on Friday. Totally in love but having the most horrendous time. Hoping to be able to get some urgent help with breastfeeding today but the biggest problem is that he will only fall asleep on DH or I, and once asleep will not be transferred to Moses basket or to cot... however gently we do this he almost immediately wakes up and screams, wont settle even 10 - 15m later. Only way to get any sleep last night was by feeding to sleep & co-sleeping in our bed next to him but I was so worried about the risks (even following Lullaby Trust guidelines) I could not sleep at all so this isnt sustainable. Has anyone else experience of this? Is there anything that worked for you?

Totally normal.

Safe co-sleeping/ bed sharing is not dangerous.
