Quiet baby gate

Hello

Very boring topic but can anyone recommend a baby gate that is very quiet to open and close? My son's room is right at the top of the stairs and so we need one that is quiet. We've bought a couple second hand and they've been really clunky. Keep waking him up way too early when my husband gets up for work or to walk the dog. (Like 5am). He's in a v light sleep at that time.

Thanks in advance
Smile

We've got these and they're great, not clunky at all:

We attached two bits of wood to the outside of Dds bedroom door frame so that we can close the door and only use the baby gate on that one at night. The rest we leave open.

We had a gate on the child's room as well as a stair gate. Once they went to bed we used the gate on the doorway and left the stairgate open.

I find the ones that you lift to click into place are quieter but I’d probably put one on his door so that you can just leave the gate one open at night and in the morning until he’s up

We have a BabyDan one at the bottom of our steps, DD's room is just at the top and it's never disturbed her

I just used to climb over it.
