ds2 is 7 mths and a fab sleeper day and night... he now 4 out fo 7 nights gets 9 hrs in one stretch..
Here is vaguely what I do

bed at 7pm as he rarely naps after 3pm due to school run and is shattered - really hard and stressy to keep him up til 7 but we manage. He goes to sleep on his own really nicely.

I was dreamfeeding him (he is breastfed) at 10.30pm but then on the nights where he only goes 6 hrs he then wakes at 5am and it's hello day!
Nothing can get him back to sleep - as dp is up for the day at 5.45am that makes it harder too...
If he has fed at 3/4am he has resettled and slept til 7-8am.

So last night I dropped the dream feed and he woke at 4am, normally he resettles and barely wakes but today up and awful grumpy screaming baby and would not sleep until 11am
He might be coming down with something mind you...

I'm rambling..... arrrgh am soooooo tired
