Our DD is 15 weeks old and we believe she's recently been going through the 4month sleep regression. Last week we thought she had cracked it! We had two nights where she did a 6/7 hour stretch, fed and then went back down till 6ish.

Now we're back to square one again with multiple night wakings (we don't pick her up or intervene unless she starts crying). Please help if you can. We're at our wits end.

This is yesterday and last night for example:
Awake - 6.53am
8.15 - breast feed
8.19 - 25 min nap in crib (put in awake but drowsy and shushed to sleep)
9.22 - breast feed
10.11 - 1hr 14 min nap on me (won't go down in the crib for longer than 30 mins so I hold her for the rest of her naps of the day)
11.37 - breast feed
1pm - 2hr 13 min nap on me
3.25 - breast feed
5.22 - 26 min nap on me
6pm - bath, book
6.38 - 55 minute breast feed
7.40 - put in crib and shushed
8pm - slept 40 mins then shushed back to sleep for 3hrs 17mins at 8.48
12.05 - breastfed
12.30 - back to sleep for 3hrs 16 mins
3.48 - took nearly an hour of rocking in arms to get back to sleep and despite numerous attempts wouldn't go back in crib so we took it in turns to hold her and she slept till 7.

On one of the days it went well this is the day routine;
6.19am - wake
7.15 - bfeed
8 - nap in pram 34 mins awake for 20 then went off again for 35
11.09 - bfeed
12,15 - nap on me for 1hr20
2.35 - bfeed
2.42 - nap on me 1hr 34
4.53 - bfeed
6.48 - nap on me 19 min
7 - bath, book
7.47 - 44 min feed
20.42 - slept 7hrs 28min
4.12 - bfeed
4.22 - slept 1hr30 in crib
6.23 - slept 50 min in crib

When mine were that age they napped in a swing or pram in the day.
I'd feed them whenever they woke up.
So rough routine was:
Feed
Play
In to swing or pram with a dummy and rocked to sleep
Feed
and so on.

They go into a swing or on us in the evening in the living room, then bottle at 10/11pm and into the cot.
Hopefully then a good stretch of sleep but once they woke I'd bring them in to bed with me, breastfeed lying down and doze off. If I was awake enough I'd put them back in the cot.

I highly recommend looking up @takingcarababies on Instagram (if you don't have it, get it solely for this purpose). She talks you through exact routines based upon age, wake windows, developmentally appropriate naps and regressions. Honestly she is just the holy grail of knowledge and it will change your life!! Ps hang in there, the 4month regression was definitely one of the worst! It gets better. Smile
