Separation anxiety and sleep regression

Dd will turn 2 soon and has suddenly hit a patch of separation anxiety. Nothing has changed in her day to day routine and up until 1 week ago was going to bed totally fine. We had to take her cot side off as she had started climbing out and we were terrified she’d hurt herself.
Looking back I’m now thinking that she was climbing out as part of her separation anxiety. I just wondered if anyone else had experienced these things and how on earth you got your toddler through it? Currently on night 7 of sleeping on her floor as this is the only way she’ll stay in her bed and I have to go to work. Really don’t want to start having her in my bed as I think I’d struggle getting her out again!!
