My DD now 7.5 months was an amazing sleeper at night from birth until 2 months ish, but never a good napper, would never sleep for more than 45 minutes, things are just getting worse, she’ll have four naps a day and sleep for about 20 minutes if I’m lucky, she’s so overtired, has been since about 2 months, just tired all the time and is waking up more and more during the night.
She’s happy in general, although tired she doesn’t really get upset, she plays with her toys, ahead of her milestones, a very good weight.
But the sleep is driving us all mad!
I can’t do a thing as the only time I’ve got is at night when she goes to bed.
Does anyone have any solutions?
Some important info:
Breastfeed and eating 3 meals a day, with one bottle at night.
Used to only be fed to sleep, but now can be rocked to sleep.
Doesn’t nap in her cot (we’ve tried)
Thank you!!
I love her so much and I’m not annoyed with her, I have the stamina to keep up, I’m not exhausted but not being able to get anything done is getting to me a bit, and more importantly I hate seeing her so tired.
