Cot to a bed

New here and looking for some advice.

My recently turned 2 little boy has now discovered he can climb out his travel cot. I've been trying him in a single bed the last 2 nights and he really struggling to settle, he always been a good sleeper until now.

I understand going from a cot to a bed is a big change but I dont know if im moving him too soon.

Just to let you know you arent alone, ive recently started a thread as my 17 month old has discovered he can throw himself over the side of the cot. So are in the proceeds of ordering all necessary equipment to ensure he is safe in his room...

Although i know its going to be hard, and my instincts tell me he is far too young, as per the comments on my own thread it has to be done because of the safety aspect. Perhaps he will just take some time getting used to it then hopefully settle.

Only difference for us is that he isnt a great sleeper anyway.

I hope things get easier.
