7 months long wakings overnight

My baby is almost 7.5 months old. He self settles to the 3 naps and bedtime. He usually does 8-7 and rarely cries for help overnight. However if I look at the baby monitor video footage it's a horror, he has so many wakings. Sometimes he'd be awake for 1hr+ struggling to go back to sleep. Is it quite normal ?? Thanks x

If not crying must be fine! I would leave it

@OverTheRainbow88 thanks. Most of the time I don't even know just worry about his overall sleep quality. Not sure if it's normal for others of similar age

Oh wow, how did you accomplish this feat of 8-7, 3 naps and a self settling baby?! My 7 month old just won't nap, it's a battle to get one nap in a day, and if he wakes in the nap, he cries immediately. He'll go back to sleep after a bit of a wail sometimes but usually not without a cuddle or feed. I'm in awe.

Meant to say wakes in the night there

@RyvitaBrevis aww bless . We sleep trained him (very gentle way). Wake window is key too - babies this age they don't show sleep cues much so try to put them down to naps not longer than 3hrs being awake otherwise they would be overtired and harder to sleep x
